Prizes AELCO
Requisites
The prizes of AELCO aim at fostering the participation of young researchers in the International conferences that take place every two years as well as giving due value to the presentation of research in the poster format. Accordingly, there are two prizes: one for the best paper delivered by a researcher who has not got a PhD yet and one for the best poster.
- Types of prize
- Prize A: AELCO Pre-doctoral Prize to the best paper (for PhD students)
- Prize B: AELCO Prize to the best poster
- Requisites to apply for the prizes
- To be a member of AELCO
- For Prize A, to be a PhD student
- Point out clearly in the registration form of the conference your wish to apply for the prizes specifying the type of prize
- Attach a brief CV and a summary or version in paper of the poster or paper to be delivered at the conference (PowerPoint, hand-out, etc.).*
- Jury
The jury is made up by members of the executive committee of AELCO plus the scientific committee of the conference
- Assessment criteria
- Scientific contents of the paper/poster (originality, relevance, previous knowledge of the topic, analytical rigour and depth, correct use of the approach followed, updated references and state of the art)
- Presentation of the paper/poster (contents organization and correct use of language, clarity and elegance of expression, tools used in the presentation of the research).

- Conference fees plus institutional dinner
- Prize Certificate
* We will only accept those registrations made before the start of the conference.
